Beginner Clinic - The beginner classes are designed to help players understand the scoring, rules, and foundational techniques in order to get on a court and play social fun recreational games. Students will also learn basic skills such as the ready position, proper grips and technique on the Serve, Returns and Volleys. Instructors will provide players with safety information on equipment, court etiquette and attire. We will provide demo paddles and pickleballs. We suggest bringing your own water bottle and towel. This session is recommended for new players who have never played or tried playing a few times.
(For players who are currently in the 1.0-1.5 skill levels )
Advanced Beginner - This class is designed for those who have already completed a beginner session and reinforces basic strategy to familiarize themselves with the rules, scoring and court positioning. It is recommended for players who have only played a few times and would like to move up to the next level with more advanced technique. Instructors will assist players with various drills and game play to improve their skills, teamwork and doubles play.
(For players who are currently in the 2.5-2.49 skill levels )
Intermediate - This class is suited for players who are currently in the 3.0-3.49 skill levels and are looking to hit every ball with a purpose understanding when to be offensive and defensive This class focuses on technique and creating consistency and accuracy on multiple intermediate shot selections: dinking, third shot drives and drops, block volleys, overheads, lobs and court positioning. This class will also focus on understanding strategies behind these different shot selections.
Advanced Intermediate - This clinic is suited for players who are currently in the (3.5 -3.99) skill levels and looking to advance their skills to compete against advanced players. This class focuses on technique, creating consistency and accuracy on multiple advanced shot selections: advanced court positioning, resets, dinking, lobs and how to neutralize your opponents. This class will also focus on understanding strategies behind these different shot selections and making advanced decision making in game situations. (3.5 and above players looking to pass the 4.0 rating session should take this class).
Beginner 4-Week Series We are offering a series of four one-hour clinics (lessons) focused on teaching and developing skills and in-game strategies through drills and game playing. (Sessions are limited to 8 participants, with a minimum of 4 participants).These clinics run for 4 four weeks and are one hour per week.
Advanced Beginner 4-Week Series This clinic is best suited for the person who has only played a few times and feel they are beginning to understand the game but would like to make sure they are doing it right.
